LG Household & Health Care has acquired ‘LG Pra.L,’
a premium beauty device brand from LG Electronics,
marking a significant step in expanding its beauty tech business.
The company announced the launch of its new home beauty device,
the ‘LG Pra.L Super Foam Galvanic Booster,’ alongside a lineup of cosmetics designed for device compatibility.

The Super Foam Galvanic Booster features a compact design,
measuring 9.5cm in length and weighing just 47g,
making it portable and easy to use.
Priced affordably at around KRW 100,000 (~$72),
it aims to attract first-time beauty device users.
The device utilizes galvanic technology,
which enhances skin penetration of cosmetic ingredients using microcurrents (250μA).
It also includes a 630nm LED to support collagen production
and delivers 8,500 vibrations per minute for a firming massage effect.
Alongside the device, LG launched the ‘GLASSLIKE’ skincare line,
consisting of three products targeting wrinkles, lip dryness, pigmentation, and elasticity.
These products contain ionized active ingredients like vitamin C and bakuchiol,
which improve absorption when used with the Galvanic Booster.
With the acquisition of Pra.L, LG Household & Health Care plans
to integrate its cosmetics R&D expertise with beauty devices,
creating an advanced skincare ecosystem combining cosmetics, devices, and AI.
